Sonora, CA — The Grace Elizabeth Carder-Nicholas Jordan Fereria arraignment will be continued at 1:30pm March 17 in Department One of Tuolumne County Superior Court.

That decision was made this afternoon. Jim Webster has been retained to represent the 20 year old Carder while Public Defender Carolyn Woodall will be representing Fereria.

Carder will be tried for the theft, possession and the selling of a controlled substance related to the August 18, 2007 death of Clinton Holt also of Groveland.

According to court documents Carder is charged with petty theft after stealing methodone from cancer patient Marilyn Christine Owen. Carder then supplied the methodone to Holt who had a blood alcohol content of .16, twice California´s legal limit, when he died.

Fereria will be tried for possession of a controlled substance.
