Sonora Man Arrested For Possession Of A Dangerous Weapon

Sonora, Ca — 40-year-old Robert Kurts of Sonora was arrested early this morning after he was pulled over for a vehicle lighting violation on Pesce Way.
While the officer was talking to Kurts, he noticed a Billy Club in the back seat of the vehicle. While running a check on Kurts, the officer learned that the suspect´s driver´s license had been suspended.
Kurts was placed under arrest and transported to Tuolumne County Jail. He faces charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, violation of parole and driving on a suspended license.
