Ratto Rd. Fire Halted At Two Acres
San Andreas, CA — According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Jim DeVoll the Sunday afternoon Jamestown area fire on Ratto Rd. was halted at two acres.
CAL Fire responded with a battalion chief and eight engines. Also on site two Stanislaus National Forest engines, one Sonora City engine, one Tuolumne County Fire Department water tender, one dozer, one unit from Columbia College and two Baseline crews. All aircraft from the Columbia Air Base were also dispatched to the fire.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. Cause of the fire has yet to be released by CAL Fire investigators.
