Alleged Drug Dealer Arrested In Valley Springs

Valley Springs, Ca — 31-year-old Brandon Sturgill of Burson was arrested by a Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputy after drugs and a loaded 9mm handgun were located in his vehicle during a traffic stop Monday.
Sturgill was pulled over at 12:20pm on Hwy 26 at Vista Del Lago in Valley Springs. The drugs found by Deputy Monique Trudeau included a quarter pound of methamphetamine, six grams of cocaine and small amounts of marijuana and ecstasy.
Sturgill also had $3,175 in his possession. The suspect was booked into county jail and is being held on $1 million bail.
