High Speed Leads To Rollover

Murphys, Ca — A 19 year old Murphys man rolled over his 2001 Mitsubishi after reportedly traveling 90 mph in a 55 mph zone.
The accident was reported on Saturday night at 9:30pm. It occurred on Highway 49, just north of the Tuolumne County line.
The car was driven by Mehdi A. Mousazadeh. The high rate of speed did not allow the driver to negotiate a turn in the roadway, leading to the accident. Mousazadeh sustained a fractured femur and was transported to Sonora Regional Hospital.
A passenger, 34 year old Brian James of Angels Camp, was also transported to Sonora Regional Hospital for a complaint of pain in his neck and back.
