Calaveras Board Weighs Fees

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — Tuesday the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will meet and consider a resolution making changes to the county´s master fee schedule.

The item is on the consent agenda and is not expected to have much discussion since the board met in a study session on the fees in late May.

The changes, which include fee increases, reductions and deletions, will bring an additional $95,000 to General Fund departments.

One of the many changes include increasing the dog license fee from $7 to $10 for an altered dog and from $15 to $20 for an unaltered dog.

Also on the agenda Tuesday, the board will consider making changes to the Copperopolis Roadway Impact Fee. The fee is levied on developments in the Copperopolis area to help pay for needed road improvements. The changes are a result of a required update of the program every five years.

The board meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the county Government Center in San Andreas.
