Hwy 4 Partially Opened

San Andreas, CA — CAL FIRE officials report that Hwy 4 is now open in the Moran Rd. area to one-way controlled traffic following this afternoon´s fires that covered 10 acres on both sides of the highway.
Full containment was reached at 7pm. The fires were initially reported at 12:19pm. No structures were threatened and no evacuations were ordered. Hwy 4 had been closed in both directions earlier in the day.
Cause of the fire remains unknown.
