Franks Arrested On Calaveras County D.U.I. Charge

San Andreas, CA — 20 year old Robert Franks Jr. of Lockeford was arrested and charged with driving-under-the-influence by the CHP Friday afternoon on O´Reilly St. south of Kirby St.
Franks attempted to make a left turn onto O´Reilly, but he lost control of his vehicle which subsequently overturned. Franks exited the vehicle and fled the scene.
He attempted to report the vehicle as stolen, but he then recanted when confronted by officers and he was promptly arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
