Murphys Resident Booked On DUI Charge

San Andreas, CA — 28 year old Richard Taborek of Murphys was arrested by the CHP late Saturday evening for driving under the influence following a single vehicle accident on Ospital Rd. east of Southworth Rd.
Taborek was driving eastbound when due to his impairment he made an unsafe turn to the left and allowed his vehicle to enter the westbound traffic lane and continue onto the northbound shoulder. Taborek´s vehicle collided with an advisory sign and continued down a dirt embankment hitting a vinyl wire fence.
He suffered minor injuries and was treated at Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital before being booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
