La Grange Man Involved In Fatal Accident
La Grange, CA — A La Grange man is dead following a car accident yesterday.
The California Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Leon Easlon was on his way to work, traveling on Highway 132 when his car spun out of control as he rounded a bend in the road.
Witnesses working at a nearby ranch say Easlon´s car then went airborne for about 10 feet, flipped and hit a signpost.
CHP reports say the force of the collision caused the wooden post to collapse on the upside-down car. Firefighters were called to cut off the car´s door to remove Easlon. The CHP says an investigation into the accident is underway.
