Yosemite National Park, CA — A heavier than normal snow pack and warmer temperatures have combined to cause Yosemite rivers to rise.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Merced River through Thursday night.
The warm temperatures will continue through Thursday and rivers will run near bank full with cold and swift water.
There is the possibility of river flooding during the night time and early morning hours along the Merced River in Yosemite Valley.
