Beer Heist Arrest In Sierra Village

Sonora, CA — 20 year old Joshua Powell was arrested Monday by Tuolumne County´s sheriff´s deputies for his involvement in stealing two packs of beer from Sonny´s Mini-Mart on Hwy. 108 in Sierra Village Sunday.
Powell and an accomplice left the mini-mart in a maroon Jeep Cherokee. Two deputies identified Powell from the store´s security video tape. Powell´s accomplice, who may go by the name of Jeremy, has been described as a white male between the ages of 18-22 with brown hair and blue eyes. Powell is housed at the county jail with a bail of $15,000.
