San Andreas, CA — A 17-year-old boy in San Andreas is being commended for returning almost $1,000 in lost money.
The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department received a call regarding found property Sunday.
There, the 17-year-old, whose name was excluded from the press release, said he found $875 dollars near the San Andreas Apartments.
Deputies checked the area and found that apartment resident Matt Ecklund had lost that exact amount in cash. The money was returned and the Sheriff´s Department is commending the boy for his integrity and honesty.
