Deputy Tax Collector Honored For Longevity

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — A shy Susan Collins accepted a resolution from the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Monday honoring her for her longtime public service.

Collins has been with the county since 1984. She is leaving her position with the Treasurer/Tax Collector´s Office at the end of the week.

Collins began as an account clerk and is retiring as Deputy Treasurer/Tax Collector. She left the office for a brief time in the 1990s to work with the CalWorks and Human Services Agency.

Supervisor Bill Claudino presented Collins with the resolution and says she has always projected a positive image of county government in general.

Treasurer/Tax Collector Lynette Norfolk says Collins provided an excellent leadership role.
