Copperopolis Plan One Step Closer To Completion
Copperopolis, CA — A community plan for Copperopolis is one step closer to completion now that a consultant has been hired to wrap up the loose ends.
A committee spent 6 years working on the plan, which sets a template for growth in the Copperopolis area.
Some additional work is needed to get the document ready for the environmental review phase.
Planning Director Bob Sellman says that work includes a circulation element and resolution of issues relating to Lake Tulloch.
Monday the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors agreed to hire the consulting firm Lamphier Gregory of Oakland for $30,000.
Later, the required Environmental Impact Report could cost over $200,000.
