Stockton, CA — Authorities are investigating at least four deaths that have been blamed on the triple-digit temperatures around the state including one Sunday at a Stockton nursing home.
More than 100 patients at Beverly Healthcare Center had to be evacuated Sunday after its air conditioning system failed. One died while another is in critical condition.
In Modesto Sunday, a patient at Doctors Medical Center died after being admitted with a 106-degree temperature.
