If I am in labor, when should I come to the hospital?

We’re here 24/7 so you can always call the Birth Center if you aren’t sure. The general recommendation is that you come in when contractions are about five to seven minutes apart, although your physician will give you guidelines for your specific situation. We do ask that you call before you come in so that we can provide any information you need and be waiting for your arrival, and provide you with a safe and excellent experience.
