Cause Determined On Horseshoe Fire

Copperopolis, CA — A fire that consumed more than 50 acres Tuesday has been determined to be caused by use of a welder.
CDF officials estimate the damage at $11,000 for the vegetation fire on 2506 Horseshoe Drive and 2206 Pommel Way.
Mop up was ongoing as of Thursday afternoon.
