Deputies Investigate Burglary And Vandalism At Poker Flat

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County Sheriff´s investigators are working to determine who is responsible for a rash of burglaries at the Poker Flat boat and RV storage facility.

Deputies were called to the yard in the gated community yesterday after a property owner had discovered that his motorhome had been broken into.

While there, officers discovered that 17 other R-Vs had either been broken into or vandalized. Four boats in the yard had also been burglarized or damaged.

A report says numerous pieces of electronic equipment including stereo equipment, televisions and D-V-D players were discovered missing. At that point all of the R-V and boat owners were notified.

Authorites believe the crimes may have occurred yesterday in the early morning hours.

Deputies say the amount of property that was taken or damaged is unknown.
