Road Striping To Cause Delays On Various T.C. Roadways

Tuolumne County, CA – Annual road striping on Tuolumne County roadways begins next week and will cause delays for commuters through the month.

The Tuolumne County Department of Public Works reports that the roadway striping contractor, Central Striping Service, Inc., out of Rancho Cordova, will conduct lane striping on various county-maintained roads throughout the county. The work begins on Monday, June 1, 2026, and continues through the end of June.

Public works officials relayed that motorists will face minor (5-minute) delays in the work area while the stripes are being painted. They ask the public to use caution, stating, “The freshly painted stripes immediately behind the paint trucks will be wet; please avoid driving on them.”

Additionally, drivers should obey construction signs and traffic control personnel in the construction zone.
