Mountain Ranch Man Arrested on Methamphetamine, Marijuana Charges

A man from Mountain Ranch was arrested on narcotics charges last week. 45-year-old Jeffrey Kurt Morales was stopped early Thursday morning in Valley Springs by a deputy from the Calaveras Ciounty Sheriff´s Department. The investigation ended with the arrest of Morales for possession and transportation of methamphetamine and marijuana. Morales is currently on parole and had a hold placed on him from the Department of Corrections. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail, with a bail amount set at 65-thousand dollars.
