New Calaveras County Supervisors Chairman

Tom Tryon, an Angels Camp rancher who has served on the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors since 1985, was elected by his fellow board members Monday night to serve as board chairman for 2004. Tryon succeeds District 2 Supervisor Paul Stein, who is starting his final year in office.
