Natural Resources Summit In Sonora Friday
State Assemblyman Dave Cogdill from Modesto is hosting what he´s calling a Natural Resources Summit tomorrow in Sonora.
Featured keynote speaker for the event is USDA Natural Resources and the Environment Under Secretary Mark Rey. Other speakers include Cogdill, U.S. Forest Service Regional Forester Jack Blackwell, and U.S. Congressman George Radanovich.
The 2003 Natural Resources Tour will bring together experts from a variety of backgrounds to discuss important natural resource issues, including the Sierra Nevada Framework, Healthy Forests Initiative and National Resource Policy.
The Summit will be held in Sierra Hall on the Mother Lode Fairgrounds, 220 Southgate Drive, at Stockton Street in Sonora. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the Summit starting at 9 a.m.
