Best of Tuolumne County Nominees Sought
The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce wants to know who you think are “The Best of Tuolumne County.”
President George Segarini says the “Best of” awards are a tradition here. “It goes all the way back to 1921,” he said. “It was originally to recognize the oustanding citizen of Tuolumne County.”
Past Citizens of the Year include Gail Witzlsteiner, Stephene Suess, Pete Kerns, Ty Wivell, Randolph Holder, Jim Grossman, Duke York, and Buddy and Betty Baker.
Categories also include Entrepreneur of the Year and Student of the Year. An award will also be given for Excellence in Government.
