Name of Accident Victim Released

Officials have released the name of the trucker who was killed in an apparent freak accident yesterday on O´Byrnes Ferry Road.
The CHP says Richard Haynes had parked his truck near the bridge over Lake Tulloch. He was going to attach a trailer when the truck suddenly began to roll backward, hit Haynes and killed him, according to the CHP.
The accident happened just north of the Tuolumne-Calaveras County line.
39-year-old-Haynes was from Oakdale and worked for a trucking company based in Modesto.
