Fires Still Burning in Sequoia, Kings Canyon

About 15 fires set by lightning in August continue to burn in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Some fires are being allowed to burn to improve forest health. But firefighters say several blazes are too remote to suppress and will likely not be extinguished until the wet winter season.
