Bear Cub May Be Shot

A bear cub who continues to return to a residential neighborhood in Auburn to eat food out of garbage cans might have to be shot. So far, the animal has not shown any aggressive behavior. But if someone becomes frightened, they can obtain a special permit allowing them to shoot the bear if it becomes aggressive.
