CHP Officer Held For Sex Charges

A California Highway Patrol officer is being held on charges he repeatedly molested a girl. Brent Adams, 35, of Vacaville, is facing 90 felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and other sex charges.
The molestations allegedly went on for over three years. Adams was also fired today by the C-H-P for violating government codes. Lieutenant Wayne Bridges says Adams was fired for inexcusable neglect of duty, immorality, and other failure of good behavior. Adams had been on the force since 1988, and worked out of the Contra Costa area of the CHP. He´s being held on 250 thousand dollars bail.
