Pipe Bombs In Manteca

Manteca closed two streets and evacuated several homes yesterday after three pipe bombs were found in a moving van. Authorities found the bombs in a nylon bag, possibly rigged with a triggering mechanism. Police were tipped by an informant. The devices were detonated in a safe area.
