Firefighters are getting some help from Mother Nature in the battle against a 500-acre wildfire near South Lake Tahoe. Fire officials say winds that gusted up to 30 miles an hour yesterday began to subside late in the day. Dozens of residents have been evacuated but no structures have been damaged.
