Bay Area authorities say a 12-year-old Chinese girl missing since Thursday has been found with relatives on the East Coast. The San Mateo County Sheriff´s department says a tip provided to the F-B-I helped law enforcement find Yukun Jia earlier today. Spokeswoman Bronwyn Hogan says Jia is safe with relatives and in good spirits. Hogan says Jia traveled to the East Coast on Thursday night with relatives. Authorities in California had issued an Amber alert early in the episode, and then withdrew it when some confusion over the girl´s status developed. She had been part of a tour group headed for Space Camp in Alabama. She turned up missing in a head count at a Stanford University tour.
