Group Concerned About Darby Salvage

The Tuolumne County timber resources group TuCare is pushing for a quick environmental review of salvage logging on the site of last year´s Darby fire. Spokesperson Ginger Armstrong says her group is concerned that by the time approvals are received the wood might no longer be usable commercially. Armstrong says the opportunity to log the salvage wood successfully will likely be gone by the end of the season next year.
