Stayner Wants Trial Moved

The lawyer for convicted killer Cary Stayner wants his trial moved out of Mariposa
County.
Stayner is accused of killing three tourists at Yosemite National Park.
His attorney says a fair trial for Stayner will be impossible after
the extensive publicity the killings received.
A hearing on the change of venue request is set for September tenth in Mariposa County Superior
Court.
Stayner has pleaded innocent to the February 1999 killings of Carole Sund, her daughter Juli and family friend Silvina Pelosso.
He´s
already serving a life sentence after pleading guilty in federal court to murdering Yosemite naturalist Joie Armstrong in July 1999.
