Burglars Keep Tuolumne County Deputies Busy
Tuolumne County deputies are investigating several burglaries. Somebody broke into a parked car near the
Clavey River, and took several items totalling more than 700 dollars. Damage was about 200 dollars.
A stereo face plate and several speakers taken
from a parked car, and items worth several thousands of dollars were taken from a storage building. Both incidents in Jamestown.
In Groveland,
somebody cut the padlock on a utility box and took several items from a parked Logging truck near Highway 120. The Paul Jones Logging vehicle was also
relieved of its welder and air compressor after the culprits unbolted them from the rear of the truck. Total loss is about 55-hundred dollars.
