Sharpshooters Found In The Central Coast

Two glassy-winged sharpshooters have been found in Nipomo. They are the first two adult sharpshooters
found in San Luis Obispo County. The two insects were found yesterday afternoon in a trap at a nursery. The pests cause destructive Pierce´s disease, which
can devastate wine grapes.
