Major Fires Surrounded in Motherlode

Both the Creek Fire near Groveland and the Leonard Fire near San Andreas were contained this weekend.
Mop up at both sites continues this week. Health officials remind those living near the fire areas to continue taking precautions over the next few days. Avoid
strenuous activity out of doors. Groveland residents displaced by the fire will meet tomorrow with Red Cross officials at the Groveland Library to apply for
assistance.
