Firefighter Relief Donations Continue

Three local fire departments have collected over $19,000.00in donations so far in their week long
fund-raiser to support the families of New York firefighters who lost their lives at the World Trade Center Disaster. The Columbia College, Tuolumne County
and Sonora City Fire Departments have headed the collections. The firefighters will be at the Sonora Wal-Mart again on Friday from 10 a.m. to 10
p.m.
This coming Sunday, those and several other local fire departments will be collecting funds at their respective fire stations. These donations will go
to the 9-1-1 New York Firefighters and the International Firefighters relief funds.
