Pleasant Hill Man Arrested For Airline Threats

A California man has been arrested at Nashville International Airport for threatening to blow up a plane. George Bekov of Pleasant Hill is being processed by federal marshals and is expected to have an initial appearance before a magistrate this afternoon.
The FBI accuses Bekov of making three threats to blow up a Southwest Airlines plane after a confrontation with airline employees over his luggage.
Bekov told agents he repairs lasers for a living and was on the way to Oak Ridge, Tennessee to fix one. FBI Agent Jon Stephens says police found no explosives, but said such threats will not be tolerated.
