Supreme Court Forces Rapist To Stay In Custody

The state Supreme Court has decided unanimously to keep a serial rapist at a state mental hospital while it considers his case.
The move keeps Patrick Ghilotti locked up until at least February sixth, when oral arguments are scheduled in Sacramento.
Ghilotti was scheduled for release nearly two weeks ago, but the state filed an emergency petition to the court to intervene.
