California Man May Be Tried For Treason, Aiding Terrorists

A government law enforcement official says a possible charge of aiding terrorists, is being considered for a Taliban fighter from California. The possible charge carries up to ten years for each count. Also possible is a charge of treason, which carries the death penalty. A spokesman for President Bush said today no decision is expected this week in the case of 20 year old John Walker Lindh.
