In California, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.65. The myMotherLode.com gas price section shows that regular unleaded is selling in Sonora from $3.35 to $3.69. In San Andreas, the price is hovering at around $3.53.
The average national price is around $3.21. Gas prices in California are higher than most other states due to it being a cleaner burning fuel because of environmental regulations.
The drop in prices is being accredited to falling crude oil prices and refineries running full-go without any hitches or recent problems.
