Avery Principal Resigns

Avery, CA — The Principal of Avery Middle School in Calaveras County has quit. In a three paragraph letter on the schools website, Principal Christine Cearley informed parents and students that she would not be back after the Thanksgiving holiday. Cearley did not give any detailed reasons for her departure except to say it was out of her control.
