Hiker Found Alive in Yosemite
Yosemite, CA — Missing hiker, Ann Lory, was found alive this morning, at approximately 11:30 a.m., in Yosemite National Park. She was located by a family member working with Search and Rescue crews in the search area. Lory was injuried and has been transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
60-year-old Ann Lory of Foresta was last heard from on Saturday morning when she left to go hiking along Old Coulterville Road and Old Big Oak Flat Road in the park. Approximately 70 people were involved in the search effort, and the park used dog teams.
The Yosemite park received assistance from, and would like to thank; the Madera, Fresno, Tuolumne, Kern, Merced, and Mariposa Counties Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue. Additionally, the Fresno Office of the California Highway Patrol and the California Office of Emergency Services assisted in the search effort.
