Luck Of The Irish

Murphys, CA — This Saturday is “Murphys Irish Day” and event organizers are expecting a huge crowd thanks to Mother Nature.

“The weather is going to be beautiful, with sunshine. We probably get half to twice the crowd of a typical year or well above 10,000 people,” says Michelle Plotnik an Event Spokesperson.

Plotnik says if you plan on heading out to the event arrive early, as it will be crowded especially before the Parade starts at 11 a.m. on Main Street. Parking and shuttle service is available at Ironstone Vineyards on Six Mile Road.

All day long, there will be plenty of live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, pony rides, a wide variety of foods and beverages. A main attraction is a raffle with the grand prize being a trip to Ireland.
