4th Of July Event Includes Laser Light Show
Christian Heights Church is hosting Tuolumne County’s Largest Free Family Fourth of July Celebration this Friday. It includes a laser light show after 9 PM.
Daryl Sarina, Christian Heights Business Administrator and Special Events Coordinator, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
The free activities for the entire family will take place on Friday July 4th from 4 PM to dark. The activities include carnival rides, games and a waterslide. There are shower facilities for changing.
A snack bar offering affordable food such as hot dogs, chips, soda and water, will be open throughout the event.
In addition, there will be a car exhibition and a BMX bike stunt show and plenty of live music.
An optional dinner will be served around 5:30 PM. A live auction (that helps pay for the event) will take place during the dinner.
By popular demand, the patriotic laser light show returns this year and will begin around 9:15 PM. The laser show is a safe alternative to fireworks. Sarina said the lasers will be both plentiful and colorful. The entire show is set to patriotic music.
This free family event is open to the community. This is the 22nd consecutive year that the church is hosting the event.
Christian Heights is located at 13711 Joshua Way in Sonora, CA. If you come up from the Junction Shopping Center on Tuolumne Road, simply follow the signs.
