Sacramento, CA — Governor Jerry Brown has not only thrown his support, but some funds at two ballot measures in the November 4th election.
Today, Brown reported spending $13.5 million this month from his re-election account and a separate ballot measure committee. The money went to Proposition 1, the $7.5 billion water bond measure and Proposition 2, which would modify the state’s rainy day fund.
Brown still has more to spend with $27 million left in those two accounts.
The Republican challenger, Neel Kashkari, reported having just $840,000 left. He has spent $6.2 million, $3 million of his own money.
