Caltrans Road Work

In Tuolumne County, Caltrans crews will be doing crack seal operations on Highway 120. Today and tomorrow they will be working between Red Hill Road and Lent Ranch Road with one-way traffic control causing possible 10 minute delays. Wednesday through the end of the week the Caltrans work will continue between Lent Ranch Road and Jacksonville Road.

Highway 120 shoulder work, with minimal 5 minute delays, will be done on Highway 120 Wednesday and Thursday, October 29th and 30th. The project is expected begin at Rushing Hill Lookout Road and go to the Tulloch Road Crossover the first day and continue beyond the Crossover on Thursday.

Also this week near the Groveland area work will be done from Monday, October 27 through Thursday, October 29. Motorists can expect 10 minute delays from Scofield Street/Big Oakflat to Memorial Drive with one way traffic control for Caltrans maintenance activities between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

In Calaveras County, more paving in the Murphys area will limit traffic to one-way with traffic control on Highway 4. The paving will be from Main Street/Douglas Flat to Meko Drive from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31. Motorists can expect 10 minute delays.

In addition, shoulder work will be done on Highway 26 from Highway 12 to the Calaveras Amador County Line (from Valley Springs area toward HWY 88/Pioneer). Crews will be working Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Motorists can expect 5 delays.

Work may be postponed  due to weather conditions. Caltrans asks that you take alternative routes whenever possible.
