School Closing

Valley Springs, CA – The wicked weather hitting the Mother Lode has forced one school to close its doors. Toyon Middle School (TMS) in Valley Springs will be closed tomorrow.

Calaveras Unified School District Superintendent Mark Campbell released this statement, “Due to storm related damage to classrooms/facilities that we know about, and the likely potential for greater issues to arise overnight, all of which would have a detrimental impact on instruction and operations, TMS will be closed for students tomorrow (Friday, December 12th).”
