Learning Event Coming For Local Businesses Who Want To Expand Globally

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — A workshop tailored to businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in exporting products or services to global markets is coming to the Mother Lode.

Organizers say the purpose is to teach the basics of starting or enhancing export opportunities by providing a high-level overview of the process and “need to know” details for successfully doing so. Among the workshop presenters will be successful local businesses, industry and international trade experts.

Workshop attendees will also learn about what is described as a myriad of resources and funding available to small to medium-sized businesses in the Mother Lode that are new to exporting or already doing it but interested in uncovering more ways to enhance their opportunities.

The event, which is slated for in Tuolumne County on Wednesday, June 7 at the Best Western Plus Sonora Oaks Hotel & Conference Center. It is locally sponsored by the Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority, in partnership with Rural County Representatives of California and the state’s Regional Center for International Trade Development. The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, California Community College Chancellor’s Office and Economic Workforce Development are among the other participating agencies.
