Another Sierra Nevada Winter Storm Watch
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Sierra Nevada above 4,000 feet, from late Tuesday evening through Thursday.
Total snow accumulation of one to four feet are possible above the 4,000 foot elevation.
Travel into the mountains will be very difficult. There may be more damage to trees and power lines.
Be prepared for chain requirements and travel delays on Highways 120, 108 and 4 up to the winter closure gates and on Highway 88 (Carson Pass). Significant reductions in visibility are likely.

This storm will continue to add to the now healthy snow pack in the Sierra Nevada.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
